My son started when he was just 2 years old and is now 4, and the growth we’ve seen in him during that time has been incredible. All three of his teachers have been so caring, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive to who he is as an individual. They’ve played such a meaningful role in supporting his development — not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well. What I’ve appreciated most is how open, communicative, and transparent they’ve always been. As a first-time parent, that level of partnership and trust means everything. They’ve consistently provided thoughtful guidance, reassurance, and support, which has made this journey feel so much less overwhelming. It truly feels like a community that cares, not just about the kids, but about the families as well. I’m so grateful for the impact they’ve had on my son, and I would 100% recommend Safari Kid to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive, and enriching environment for their child.
★★★★★Leila IbarraMy son has thrived tremendously since starting at Safari Kid - Menlo Park. He began in October of 2024 at the age of 2. He had very few words and was extremely shy, which made the transition into school a tough one. Although he cried for the first few months during drop off we saw a huge change in him once that transition period ended. Fast forward to now - he’s 3.5, his vocabulary and speech are completely developed, & he loves school. The routine of his every day with Teacher Bev, his favorite activities (music, circle time, playing outside, & running around with his friends), and the love and care from all the teachers has truly made his time and ours worthwhile. As a former early childhood and Elementary school educator I cannot recommend SK - Menlo Park enough. If you appreciate teachers who love and care for your child(ren) through holding boundaries and realistic, age appropriate expectations and who are warm and caring then Sandhya, Bev, & Stephanie are the teachers for your child(ren).

As parents, we’ve enjoyed seeing our children grow at Safari Kids. The teachers are experienced, loving, patient, thoughtful and very engaging. More importantly, I see our children have enjoyed and continue to enjoy spending time at Safari Kids. I have witnessed the transformation of my children from “babies” to kindergarten-ready kids and much of that is in part because of their development at the school. It feels like they know him inside and out, and they’ve created such a warm and supportive environment for him. We love the way they balance structure with plenty of freedom for the kids to explore and grow. They are also all very approachable, communicate daily with us, and are quick to answer questions, which gives us so much peace of mind. The facility itself is really nice as well - spacious classroom with natural light and a big outdoor play area that our child loves. From day one, we’ve felt supported as parents, and we’d wholeheartedly recommend Safari Kid Menlo Park to any family looking for a nurturing, well-run preschool.
