Powered by GoogleI went here when I was a child. I really enjoyed my time there. Now my children get the same fun experience. However be careful driving ip the gravel road, im not sure why or how but there is metal debris that got stuck under my car from driving to the parking lot.
Always a great place for our Blue & Gold Crossover ceremony.
Nice Scout camp and nice facilities for scout honors award ceremony
This is a good camp for those who like to camp in cabins. The cabins are good sized for twelve, have lots of Venetian style windows, are spaced enough for a modest level of privacy and have a good bathroom centrally located. The bunk beds have good ladders and even have modest, but useful mattresses. The dining hall is good sized, is in good condition and is very functional. There are tetherball, basketball, and gagaball courts. There is a medium sized campfire ring in a central location. There is a nature hiking path to a large campfire amphitheater in the woods overlooking Lake Jacomo. The camp is surrounded by woods to give it a woodsy feel, though most of camp is cleared of trees and brush so you aren't immersed in the woods. A large building is under construction just east of the pool. I don't know what it is for, but I am glad that someone continues to invest in the camp. All in all, this is a good place to camp.
Excellent camping experience!! Love sitting around a campfire with my scout!!
