Rockatar was amazing with my son Luke, who is on the spectrum. During summer camp, they showed incredible patience and kindness, and we saw so much growth in him. He loved every moment, and we’re so thankful for their support. Thank you to Michael and all the amazing teens that helped him. We will be back again next summer.

Five years ago, Josh was able to work with my IEP son whom wasn't comfy in most environments. It was awesome to watch them. He was able to calm him once whilst having a floor fit. He so kind, gentle & patient. We have now rejoined after attending music camp. My little fell back in love with the environment, as did I. We loved it so much, we went back for another week and have signed back up for weekly classes for the school year. He's really flexible with us as we homeschool and he can shift it needed. Michael has created a wonderful environment!

A staff dedicated to making music fun and following the interests of the student to do so. My son had his 9th birthday party here, rock and roll themed, all the kids had a blast singing and playing instruments under the guidance of the instructors. After that (for 7 years), both my son and daughter (and me too sometimes) have had on again off again lessons in voice, songwriting, bass guitar, drums, and guitar. The owners' and instructors' enthusiasm has instilled a lifelong love of music and performing in both of my kids. All the instructors we've had have been great - and Morgan and Josh have always gone above and beyond. While largely catering to younger kids (at least at the Westchase location), neither of my kids outgrew it. The skills and motivation Rockatar fostered fueled their current loves of musical theater and songwriting. Rockatar offers the opportunity for students to strut their stuff at performances at local restaurants or events. It is no ordinary "recital". These events are full of energy, allow the kids to see what others have done, and are a fantastic way to get used to performing in front of a crowd. In general, Rockatar looks for unusual opportunities for the students to perform. Through them the kids performed at a fundraiser, festival, several different restaurants and have had the opportunity to perform in a band and in a barbershop quartet. Not your traditional music school. So creative and enthusiastic. Great concept. Nice people.

Great music school. Love the teachers, Josh, Chris and Michael, cool owners. The most important part is that our 2 boys (8 and 7) are eager to go for lessons and are enjoying learning, playing and practicing piano because of the passionate teachers. Teachers who are passionate about music and teaching music make this school special.
