University of Georgia's Rock Eagle 4-H Center north of Eatonton, the world's largest 4-H center, on nearly 1,500 wooded acres with a 110-acre lake beside Oconee National Forest. It runs Georgia 4-H residential summer camp: Cloverleaf Camp for rising/recent 5th-6th graders (assigned by county week) and a Senior eXtreme high-adventure camp for high-schoolers, with archery, canoeing, kayaking, high ropes and nature workshops.

★★Amber MitchellSunday brunch with Rock Eagle could be a really great Sunday option because few choices are available in town (Madison, GA) but our visit was underwhelming. Lunch is served from 1130-130 and we arrived at 1245 to empty food trays on the warmers and few choices left. Staff were not forthcoming on whether more food was being brought out. After our initial plates were filled we were shuffled back and forth between the two food stations on either side of the room by staff who were trying to close and break down early. We felt rushed to finish our food and get out of their way. Drink choices are tea, lemonade and water and prices are about $15 per person. We would not go out of our way to visit here again, but with some minor changes, it could become a frequent stop after church in the future.

They serve lunch between 11:30a and 1:30p and cost $14.50 (Cash or checks only), which seem a little high, but the food is excellent and it supports a first class organization/facility. Full buffet includes fruit bar, salads, entree, sides, deserts and beverages. Service is friendly and excellent. We took s drive around the facility and it is quite impressive. Definite worth considering for conferences and attending summer camp.
