I’ve been coming here since 2019. This past year it’s gone downhill very fast. The staff up front, is extremely disrespectful and just flat out rude. The facilities are average compared to other gyms. Every single time it rains they close the whole pool, sauna and steam room despite the whole area being covered. It seems like they have staffing issues because every time I’ve come the area is closed during the evenings and they blame it on rain even when it’s perfectly sunny and clear outside. I’d take your business elsewhere.

Yall are very Unorganized and unprofessional. Timika is a terrible director, i had an issue with my child’s membership and she gave me the worst attitude. On top of that her employees complained to me how uncomfortable she would make everyone feel. GET A NEW DIRECTOR. on top of that, katie just sits in her office all day and when i asked for help, she barely did anything. Get your shit together YMCA!

Amazing fitness instructors, any classes are always almost full, or fully booked, I tempted to put myself on waiting list but no luck until today, got in my first Body Pump experience, it was amazing. Monica and Karen are amazing instructors, I haven't tried the other classes yet but their classes are awesome👍. The staff members are also amazing and very helpful, the facilities are a bit older, but the majority equipments are in working condition, great indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi and nice size sauna. There's a good size playground outside of the indoor pool and child care facility while you're working out. Games room and library, very well organized health center. Tons of parking, conveniently located near the shopping center "The Forum".

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Robert Fowler YMCA, and I have to say—it exceeded all my expectations! I traveled from Winter Park, Florida, and thanks to the nationwide YMCA membership, I was able to use the facility without any hassle. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff here are incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to care about creating a positive experience for every guest. The gym area was spacious, clean, and had all the equipment I needed for a solid workout. The pool was another highlight—well-maintained, relaxing, and perfect for both fitness and unwinding. It’s clear that the facility is kept in top shape and that the team takes pride in maintaining a high standard across the board. One of the biggest bonuses for me was the free coffee in the lobby—a small gesture that makes a big difference, especially after an early workout. But what really made this visit extra special was the childcare service. As a parent, it’s such a relief to know your little one is safe and entertained while you take a bit of time for yourself. The staff in the childcare area were warm, attentive, and made my child feel right at home. All in all, the Robert Fowler YMCA offers an amazing blend of fitness, community, and thoughtful amenities. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the area, it’s absolutely worth stopping by. I left feeling refreshed, supported, and grateful to be part of the YMCA family.

I am a member, and the YMCA has so much more to offer than LA Fitness or Planet Fitness, I just want to highlight the terrible treatment and customer service I have received at this location from a few of the older ladies who sit at the check-in desk. First time I came to visit and asked about joining, the woman immediately gave me papers to fill out without welcoming me or even asking if I wanted to tour the facility. Geoffrey picked up on what was going on was very warming and welcoming as he took us on a tour of the facility. After this encounter each time me and my wife have come to the facility, we have not been greeted as everyone else is, and the older ladies at the desk seemed to give us a hard time as we are just asking about the status of our account and signing in. Finally today after asking Geoffrey for help, I found out they didn’t even add my account so I could get my barcode to sign in (just being lazy), it took under 10 minutes for him to look me up, make sure my payment information was correct, and show me how to get my barcode on the app. Overall, love the facility, I would advise to just be aware of the lazy, rude, older ladies who work the front desk. If you need any help, look for Geoffrey to help you.
