The courts outside are lovely. It's incredible that there is a free place to go to enjoy pickleball, basketball and more. The bathrooms outside are treated with care and I hope that continues.

I’m so grateful that I decided to sign my son up for swimming lesson. He is 21 with Autism, we tried when he was younger but he just wasn’t ready. This time was a success! The swim instructors were amazing! We decided to do the group sessions and I was truly impressed, they spent just enough time on him to promote progress while not taking away from the other students. It was a wonderful inclusion experience for us ❤️

We just decided to join the Y, thinking that it is family oriented. Well im beside myself with how I've been treated the past 2 times I've been with my 2 small children who are 5 and 7 and very well behaved. We go to the pool, and I've always used the locker room, never had a problem until last Wednesday and then tonight. One woman told me it was her locker room and she wanted to know when I was done because she wanted to get changed. Mind you I'm packing my bag up before she even said anything, even went to another part of the locker room to change my children so noone was around and she decided to come to that area to throw a little piece of trash away and stand there looking at us, and then she finally says are you about done while I'm packing my belongings and I said yes but why does that even matter, said she wanted to get changed that it was her locker room. Then tonight I'm met by an employee who walked through saying we weren't allowed in there it was an 18 yr and older locker room, ok didn't know that never saw a sign saying that nor saying children weren't allowed, I said ok didn't realize this was a thing, I'll go ahead and leave, then here comes another lady that works there and looks at me in disgust I said look I already have been told by the lady that you just spoke with I'm new I didn't realize she said good welcome. The reason I'm mad, is I pay just like everyone else does, the ymca is not yaut club where only rich folks can go, it's a mixture of all kinds, from rich, middle class, low class, to plain out broke but need to get out and exercise and do something for your children. I'm sorry but if 3 old ladies have a problem with children then they shouldn't be at the y to begin with let alone work there. it doesn't cost anything to be nice and polite. Maybe instead of treating someone like that, how about say mam are you new here, when you finish up can you meet me up to the desk where we can go over a few things. How these women have handled this situation has been distasteful and down right ignorant. I could say a lot about them and how their lives are but wait I won't do that because I don't know them. Mr Robbie Gill needs to do another check with his older employees because it's not right how I have been talked to my last 2 visits!
