Camp Barnes is a free weeklong overnight camp run by the Delaware State Police on Miller Creek near Frankford, serving Delaware residents ages 10-13 regardless of family income. Campers enjoy swimming, kayaking, nature walks, arts and crafts and team-building, with a state trooper on duty and about 90-100 campers per week across six summer weeks.

★Lorena HustonMy children previously enjoyed their stay at this camp. However, after reviewing the detailed statement from a former C.I.T, I am extremely concerned and dissatisfied. The information presented regarding sanitation issues, staff behavior, and overall camp management is alarming. Based on these findings, I will not allow my children to return. I will also be contacting the appropriate authorities and regulatory offices to report these issues. This situation requires immediate investigation and oversight. This won't be a happy summer next year as a concerned mother for her childrens safety.

The improvements are excellent and the seeing is beautiful, right on the Muddy Miller Creek. Newer pool and excellent camps make this a great place to send your kids.
