Redemptive Artistry
Private
Redemptive Artistry, run by artist Shelley West, offers a small summer art camp (limited to about 10 students) in a garage studio in Gainesville. The half-day schedule runs roughly 8:30am to noon with two creative art sessions using varied materials, an outdoor game-and-snack break in between, and pool time that requires passing a swim test. Its intimate size lets each camper work closely with the instructor.
The practical details
We list only what the camp itself publishes, and programs change — dates, prices, ages and availability can all move after we check. Confirm the details on the camp’s own website and contact Redemptive Artistry directly before you register or pay. Last checked August 2026.

Powered by GoogleShelley is an excellent art teacher. The environment is small, welcoming, and supportive. My son loves going to her art classes and is acquiring new skills and confidence in his abilities.
Shelley is aaahhhmmmaaazing. She is creative, professional, punctual, friendly, patient, gentle, and kind. She has a Mary Poppins vibe about her. My kid who “hates art” loves to go to art class each week. I highly recommend this class!
My kids love art with Shelley! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, allowing the children to learn, explore and create. She uses many different mediums, so the kids are engaged and excited. Wonderful!
Ms. Shelley is wonderful with her students and an excellent teacher. The students not only stay busy creating many pieces of art, they learn about different artists and mediums. I highly recommend Ms. Shelley's class and summer camp!
Amazing art class! My kids have taken lessons from Shelley for 2 years, and my kids love her. Shelly is a teacher who shares her creativity and enthusiasm for art with all of her students. Highly recommended.
