Corks & Colors Studio in Gainesville is a paint-and-pottery studio that runs weekly summer art camps for children around ages 8-11, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm. Each week has a different theme with a set project rhythm, clay days early in the week, painting and 2D work midweek, and glazing on Friday. Campers register by the week.

They have a great variety of pieces to choose from, and the whole environment feels cozy and creative. The only thing I'd mention is that the music kept shifting from loud to soft, which was a little distracting. If you're sensitive to sound, sitting outside might be a better option next time (the outdoor seating was full when we went). Overall, we loved it and will definitely be back. It's such a peaceful way to spend an afternoon.

It was so calming. Staff was there for questions but ultimately let you do your thing. They have an outside area. I can't wait to go back.
