We were late in the season to meet Santa and went searching online and so happy to have found The Red Barn Farm. We reserved our tickets and time slot on their website and hit the ground runnin when we got there! They had so much to look at and activities to do. The place was full of christmas decor and the animals were all friendly and curious! Absolutely enjoyed our visit and cannot wait to visit again. Thank you Red Barn Farm for a beautiful, fun-filled time!

I was really disappointed with the Red Barn event for Santa this year. We were under the impression that most of it would be indoors, but almost everything was outside except Santa in a small barn. They had heaters under the pavilion, but they didn’t feel like they were actually on, so everyone was still freezing. For the price, I expected a lot more. $33 for one adult and one kid..it looks like they added some fee if using a card. Adults had to pay full price, but we weren’t even allowed to have the gingerbread cookies that were “included” in the ticket cost. Hot chocolate wasn’t included either—you had to pay extra. They also didn’t have the Polar Express train running, which was a big reason we went, but they didn’t tell us this information when we purchased our tickets. Overall, it felt very overpriced for what you actually get. I will say that Santa was genuinely kind, and the photographer took the time to make sure the kids looked good and were comfortable before snapping photos.

Today’s experience for my 3 grandsons was awesome! Although the Red Barn Farm was not open, the owner (Dinnnita) allowed us to come. There were campers who were familiar with the farm. Winter took us on a tour and told us the history of the rescue animals at the farm. It was amazing to be able to touch, feed and even walk among the many variety of animals! The farm had lots of play items and picnic tables for us to have our picnic! The Red Barn Farm is a true hidden treasure in Dinwiddie!!

This was our first time at Red Barn Farm. It was like taking a walk down memory lane. Very warm welcoming, wonderful family filled environment. They made seeing santa quite magical with so much to do. Exactly how it's supposed to be. Can't wait to visit again. We definitely are making a family tradition of going here from now on. Thank you

Adorable little farm with a petting zoo area and a little play area with seating for parents. Great array of animals. 2 turkeys followed us around the play area and actually let us pet them. Their calf Buttercup melted our hearts. What a beautiful sweet girl. She follows you around too! Highly recommend. Small and intimate. I found the place on facebook and it was close to home, we called first to confirm they were open. They were= just with a time change from what is advertised, so call first. Also there is no mention of admission fees, just states you can buy feed buckets for $5.00. Got there and was charged $39.00 for 1 adult & 2 kids & 3 feed buckets. Not complaining, just didn't have much cash and was caught off guard. Totally worth it. We had a great time. Will be back for one of their holiday events next!
