Christian camp and retreat center on the edge of the Jackson-Washington State Forest in the hills of southern Indiana, offering both overnight and day camp sessions and accredited by the American Camp Association. Campers hike, swim, canoe, climb a tower, work a high ropes and initiatives course, and play volleyball, gaga ball and 9-square. Founded in 1952 as the Presbyterian Youth Camp of Brownstown, Pyoca became an independent nonprofit in 2022 and remains aligned with the Presbyterian Church (USA) while welcoming campers of any background. The camp states it never turns a child away for financial reasons.

Because of this camp I think I have more leadership skills, more knowledge about nature and god, and more compassion for every creature and person on the earth. Campfires, dancing, and games were always a blast. The counselors were wonderful, they loved being around kids and helping them learn. The cinnamon rolls were out of this world, and pizza night was always fun. Hiking up the mountain with the whole camp was always a fun day, and rock climbing is still a fond memory of mine. I love this place! Definitely send your kids here!
