My daughter was registered and paid to attend a softball camp at this facility. We arrived on the first day of camp only to find the doors locked and nobody there. My daughter, two of her friends, and other families who had registered were all left standing outside trying to figure out what was going on. Calls to the facility went unanswered, and there was no notice posted at the building. After waiting outside for approximately 15 minutes, we discovered that refunds had been issued by email 32 minutes before the camp was scheduled to start. At that point many families, including ours, were already on the road and not checking email. I had arranged my work schedule for this camp, only to learn after arriving that it had been canceled. I understand that programs sometimes need to be canceled. The problem was the inadequate communication. Sending a generic refund email less than an hour before the start time is not adequate notice, especially for an event involving children and families who are already traveling to the facility. This experience was frustrating, disappointing for the kids, and showed a lack of consideration for the families who committed their time to participate.

I went to watch my son’s Rising Star Showcase at Premier Performance Academy. We drove over an hour to get there and arrived a few minutes before 0830. The facility itself was fine, although the ceilings were low for the catcher throwing exercise. Also, the recording equipment that tested their speed malfunctioned all day long. Many players had to redo their speed test because it failed to capture their time. Therefore, it didn’t necessarily capture their best time. I am sure this was frustrating for all players but especially for the kids who had to redo it 3 times. For the price we paid ($350), everything should be working at a 100%. The results posted on the app were bare. I was very unimpressed with how the entire showcase was run. Lastly, for the love of God do something about your bathroom, as in clean it. As much money as you made from the 40 kids that showed up to your showcase, you should be able to afford somebody who can clean the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and one roll of toilet paper. You had no paper towels in the bathroom and most importantly it was disgusting in there. I went into the bathroom about an hour after we arrived and I’m sure that it was like that before you opened. Put up some signs and ask everybody using the bathroom to have respect for others, but if they can’t do it, you should definitely have respect for your players and their parents who show up. The guy that left the bathroom before me had a look of embarrassment on his face, and I didn’t understand until I walked in. You need to remember it’s the parents who pay the bills for these kids so if you’re running a business, run it to the best of your ability or you will have to deal with the negative reviews like this one. I can honestly say we will not be back.
