Powered by GoogleNever been somewhere where I wasn't able to play with my daughter. I signed a waiver that said it was for "myself and a minor," but was still denied the ability to tumble with my girl at a birthday party. Total bummer. My girl had fun with her friends though. So that's good.
My girls have been to birthday parties here before and had a great time. Parents could walk through the gym and help out their child and watch them play. This past Saturday was not the case. Parents had to sit in a small room and watch their child through the glass. The kids weren't able to do half the stuff they wanted to. They only get 1 hour on the floor. The first 20 minutes were spent "stretching". So they lost time there. At first they could only do the trampoline into the foam pit. Then after something was said, they then allowed the kids to get on the beam and jump into the foam pit. Other than that they either had to run around in a circle or sit down. They pulled out a rope to push the kids into the foam pit and made the other kids sit down. (Some of the kids didn't want to swing) but were made to sit down. We spent 350 dollars to rent this place out, signed waivers and everything. There were 2 workers out there. When I asked if my daughter could walk on the beam with my assistance, they said no. My daughters didn't get to do the stuff they wanted to as well as the other kids. They would walk in the room and say that they wouldn't let them do anything different. In my opinion, if you're going to rent out a gym of this nature, you have to expect the kids to want to enjoy it to the fullest. Especially when waivers are signed and the place isn't responsible. If you're not going to let the kids enjoy themselves and have that fun factor that kids of that age are looking for, then don't hold parties. It's that simple.
I am very excited to have found this gym. We live in Gaffney and this is the closest location for our family. My 3 girls were all placed in the same class, which is super convenient with trying to juggle schedules for 5 kids! My girls are at home practicing daily and this instruction is going to help them greatly. I am confident in this location to have them learn and train. Seeing photos of USA olympic teams having come out of this gym is a huge plus!
Been looking gymnastics for my girls. My youngest went for the first time and we absolutely love it! The staff and coaches are friendly, and make you feel like you are part of the family. Can’t wait for my other two to start.
