Really happy with my visit to Prairie Trail Sports Complex. Friendly staff and a genuinely pleasant experience overall. The place was clean, welcoming, and well looked after. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Ankeny.

Overall a good place for AAU Volleyball. Courts 5,6,7,8 are quite short on serving area with the nets between court causing trouble for servers feet and hands getting caught in net. Seating by these courts were also an issue designed for individuals with short legs and just not enough seating between games.

1 st time there. Went for a 4 on 4 high school soccer game. 1 st room had 3 matches going on. Second room had another set of games going on. It was a nice facility. The seating for parents and fans put you on the edge of the court. Small area to play each game. But athletes liked it.

I attended a large volleyball tournament here and there isn't a single positive with this space besides the staff. The parking is atrocious, it's lucky the ground is frozen with half of the cars having to park in a field or the alternative parking in a "nearby" residential neighborhood. Then comes the seating issues. There are a handful of very small bleachers and sporadic folding chairs, maybe enough to accommodate half of the people here. This wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't a ten hour tournament. I read in other reviews responses you're trying to work on that but how long does it take to purchase larger bleachers or more chairs, this just feels like lip service to complaints.
