Berkeley studio (Playing Life Academy, home to Footfire Soccer and Brincadeira Viva martial arts) whose Footfire Summer Soccer Camp has run since 1995. The eight-week camp blends soccer training with arts and crafts, water-play afternoons and a soccer-tennis championship, emphasizing play over competition and social skill-building for a range of ages and abilities; catered lunch is provided.

The counselors were on their phones and playing together-- they did little to support kids and help them play soccer together because they were involved in their own social lives. My son even went with a friend and they both play soccer on a team but still didn't have fun. Or play much soccers. The owners seemed sweet but they do not control their staff who seem to just be hanging.....
