Pinecrest is a Presbyterian (PCUSA) overnight camp and retreat center on 450 wooded acres about 35 minutes east of Memphis, where campers swim, hike, bike, do arts and crafts and take part in Bible study. Summer sessions serve rising 1st-12th graders and range from a short Mini-Camp for hesitant first-timers to a traditional Discovery Camp, a Night Owl session and wilderness/adventure trips that travel to East Tennessee and North Carolina for paddling, rappelling and whitewater rafting. Camps are open to all faiths, and fees use a voluntary three-tier model in which every camper receives the same experience regardless of what the family pays.

My daughter’s third year attending this camp! She comes back with stories to tell & amazing experiences. So thankful that her dad chose this camp for her to attend every summer. Certainly a memory she’ll never forget! Praise be to God & thank you Pinecrest!

Staff was beyond accommodating and polite! Food was wonderful! Great place to have a school/work retreat. The only things I wasn’t thrilled about was the mold smell in one of the cabin’s bathrooms and the amount of dead spiders in the corners- BUT I would MUCH rather have dead spiders over love ones! I definitely hope to go back here again!
