Powered by GoogleMy spouse and I saw The Proposed tonight. It was well done. We really enjoyed the performances of all of the actors. Superb. Seating was comfortable. We’re headed back north next week but plan to see your October show when we return. Feel fortunate that this lovely theatre is less than 2 minutes from our condo here.
I loved this show! Great script, set design, costumes and the very talented cast. I always tell friends & family to go and support the local theater. I just wish the shows were performed for longer dates. This is a great chance to see a live performance. Thank you! Keep up entertaining your audiences.
I came on last minute as sound help. What a treat this is to be able to play. Josef, the 'Gods of Comedy' director is sweet, pro, and patient. The theater is soooo cute and clean and the seats are comfy!!! The players, crew, and all directors are a refreshing gang of happy people ready to be playful with eachother. The show, 'The Gods of Comedy'' by Ken Ludwig is a delight. . Come see our decedent sexy bombshell, the quirky over-zealous college professors, and the greek gods Thalia, Dionysus, and Ares discover with whimsey human experiences inside college life while a tangled web is woven over a 2000 year old book!!! The Pineapple team work together to bring this fantastical comedy to life filled with laughter, special effects...and.. yes... even pyro you guys!!!! What an absolute pleasure to spend my time and energy in the playhouse. Thank you Pineapple Playhouse!!!!!
The Gods of Comedy was an absolute triumph of laughter and creativity! I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard in years. From the very first moment, the cast and crew pulled us into a whirlwind of hilarity, timing every joke and gag with perfection. But what truly elevated the show was the incredible attention to detail. The production team layered in surprises at every turn—lighting that danced with the mood, sound effects that punctuated the comedy, pyrolights that added bursts of excitement, bubbles that floated through the air, and even snow that transformed the stage into pure magic. It was a show within a show, where every element worked together to keep the audience delighted and amazed. Huge applause to the entire ensemble for their energy and brilliance, and to director Josef Long, who outdid himself with this production. His vision and leadership brought together a performance that was not only hilarious but also technically dazzling. If you’re looking for a night of nonstop laughter, clever surprises, and theatrical wonder, The Gods of Comedy is a must‑see. Prepare to laugh your sides off and leave with a smile that lasts long after the curtain falls!
Plenty of parking here at the Pineapple Playhouse. Two beautiful murals flank the entryway. This ushers right into a quaint Courtyard to enjoy a popcorn snack, a beverage before the show, and plenty of Posters of the current and upcoming Plays. I sat right up front; Great seat! I Saw Boeing Boeing here, the actors did a Great Job! Definitely coming back for another play.💜
