Pine View Farm Camp & Events runs a hands-on agricultural summer camp at Martinelli's Farm on Peeptoad Road in Scituate, Rhode Island. The operator describes it as a hands-on, educational experience designed to immerse kids in the world of farming, gardening, and sustainability, covering planting, watering and harvesting crops; feeding and caring for farm animals including chickens, pigs, cows and a horse; collecting eggs daily; farm-to-table cooking and nutrition; nature scavenger hunts and farm-themed arts and crafts; and teamwork and leadership development. Camps are for ages 8 and up and run Monday to Friday, 9am to 3pm, sold as one-week registrations.
