Private

Performing Arts Music runs audition-based summer musical theater camps in which students rehearse and stage a full production - recent seasons have mounted Les Miserables for ages 13-18 and High School Musical JR for ages 6-12. Each camp meets Monday through Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm, across roughly four weeks and ends with public performances; an audition is required, though the studio states every audition secures a spot. The studio is at 5334 Transit Road in Depew and otherwise focuses on year-round private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, drums, strings, and brass for ages 4 through adult.

My daughter went here for voice lessons for a year. We had many issues and tried talking to the owner/manager. We were told things would change, nothing changed. This was a singalong not a lesson. There wasn’t any coaching or direction given. One day my daughter was sick and we were told we had to give 24 hours notice to cancel a lesson and still had to pay for that day. When the teacher was sick, in most cases the lesson was cancelled 5 minutes before while we were sitting in the parking lot, we were told we could have a make up date. We had 5 lessons cancelled due to the teacher being sick and were given very limited options for make ups. Finally we were credited for a month. The month we stopped doing lessons we were back to 5 make up dates. I told them when I cancelled I would gladly speak to the owner/manager so they could understand my frustrations but no one ever called or reached out. We have switched to a different place and absolutely love it. The focus is actually on my daughter’s voice. Look around before committing!

My son has been taking guitar lessons here for the past nine months or so. The staff has been wonderful. Everyone here has been super friendly. We recently had to reschedule a couple of lessons, and the reception staff went above and beyond to work around our schedule to make the lessons work. This is a great school to have your kids begin music lessons.

Performing Arts is a wonderful place! My daughter and now grandkids have and are taking lessons on various instruments and have learned a lot in a very comfortable, non-pressure atmosphere. The teachers treat them all as individuals and are very open to personalizing their lessons. Erin, especially, is terrific! The kids love her! The only time a lesson was postponed was for a death in the teacher's family. Their recitals are fun and low key.

We absolutely love Performing Arts! My daughter has been doing singing lessons with Mrs. Jen for 1.5 years. Mrs. Jen has helped make my daughter so much more confident and of course a beautiful singer! All of the staff there are extremely kind and professional. Mrs. Jen evens puts on awesome karaoke birthday parties and adult karaoke nights. We highly recommend Performing Arts!

This place is amazing! My daughter has been taking guitar lessons since June and her teacher Erin is awesomesauce! Listening to my daughter practice at home and then working with her teacher and watching her grow as a musician is such an awesome experience for her and for me. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Thank you so much Performing Arts for all that you do for my daughter. 😊
