Performance Club Theatre Company (Performance Club Kids), founded in 2005, runs half-day summer theatre camps for rising kindergartners through middle school at the Wrightsville Beach Parks & Rec Fran Russ Center Studio. Each week has a different theme covering improv, creative movement, scene study and musical theater, runs Monday-Friday with a snack included, and ends in a Friday showcase of skits, scenes and songs for family and friends. The company also stages an audition-based summer stock season for ages 8-19 at Thalian Hall's Ruth & Bucky Stein Theatre and teaches over 400 students a year.
