Children's theater day camp near Wrightsville Beach for rising kindergartners through middle school, held at the Wrightsville Beach Parks & Rec Fran Russ Center Studio. Weekly half-day sessions (snack included) cover musical theater, improv, comedy, film and character development, culminating in a Friday showcase for family and friends. Founded and directed by a professional SAG actor.

I first met LJ Woodard, auditioning for one of her summer stock shows and fell absolutely in love with this company! After being in a few productions with her, growing and learning as an actress, I got the opportunity to help with one of her classes and I was in absolute awe! Watching Broadway lovers, and never before seen a musical kids alike, come into this space and engage in an incredible hands on and creative environment was just so inspiring. I met kids who day one barley spoke, and who day five sang solos and danced and acted and made so many new friends with a confidence ignited by Performance Club Kids. Watching future stars stepping into themselves in real time is a magical moment to witness. From being guided an encouraged as a young actress to getting experience on the other side and watching Mrs. Woodard teach new creators, I realized as she taught these kids that I had carried such lessons from her in my own life through more than just the theater! Hearing familiar lines in classes I assisted with, made me remember that I too had been taught this from her, and applied said lessons to far more than just my theatrical career! LJ Woodard teaches theater, but she also teaches life. I am so grateful to Performance Club Kids and all that they do!!
