Powered by GoogleThe good: - Coaches are great and team structures are well structured. - Concession stand is ran well and restrooms are fairly clean. The bad: - For an organization that’s been around for a few years, the fields are below average with some having potholes and noticeable dips on the fields. Many of the fields are a lot higher in the center field. - The head ref, I believe his name is Patrick, is horrible and biased. Evidently he’s the referee that trains other referees. I’ve heard about him from others in the past, but today I experienced it. He call many questionable fouls on one team, but allowed the other team to throw one kid on the ground numerous times to the point where the kid started crying (safety issue). He then allowed a heading goal (this is also a safety issue and not allowed with U9). Additionally, he allowed that same team to complete multiple hand balls (not to protect themselves, but reaching out to stop the ball) without any penalties. He then went ahead and attempted to allow the same player kick multiple PKs during the shootout until he was corrected by parents and coaches. After the game Patrick immediately goes to the coach and speaks with them without saying anything to the other coach…suspicious. Patrick has an integrity and character issue and with him as the organization’s lead ref, it speaks volume for the Pensacola FC. If he’s unable to understand and apply simple rules to the game, he shouldn’t be able to train others. This will be our last time with this park.
Don't wast your money. If your lucky, you will be kept informed by this organization of when the games and practices are. They are like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Do yourself a favor and find a Soccer League that has integrity and professionalism.
Aligning with new clubs in the area to create new levels for top performers to reach. So long Texans, Hello PFC Rush.
Great soccer team! Catch a game next season and don't miss out!
I play soccer here for a Varsity team, and that are amazing quality fields. The grass is perfect, the ground is level, and it is by far the best soccer complex I’ve ever played on.
