Powered by GoogleIf you are an artist who displays your work at the PAA, you need to keep close tabs on your work. My wife had some jewelry on display and four of her necklaces were allegedly misplaced. Two of them were found and the others are still missing. Once the two were found it took weeks, phone calls and emails to get them back. The PAA is run by volunteers, and we have found it to be disorganized and inefficient.
Such a wonderful shop with beautiful and unique art pieces and great classes for kids. We stumbled upon this shop waiting for the train and Peggy the Head Wizard helped the kids make wands. We wish we lived closer to enjoy this art academy regularly.
Even though we did not attend an art class, we stopped by after going on the train ride at CNP. We were able to see the silk scarf class in progress. We were really impressed to see the outcome of the scarves being made. Definitely we plan to book a class soon when back in town. The storefront features a variety of artists and a variety of art pieces. Prices seem reasonable. Check it out if you are in the Peninsula area!
I love this place for local art. They have lots of interesting classes (glassblowing, fused and stained glass, painting, drawing, weaving, enameling, upcycled crafting, photography, etc.), and it's fun to browse in the gallery. They have rotating exhibits highlighting different themes or mediums, and the regular gallery is the FIRST place I look when I need to buy a gift. Kids' classes too!
The Academy is a local house for local art, artists, and people shopping for unique things. They also offer a robust class schedule for adults, teens and kids at a variety of times and days on a variety of subjects. I've taken three glass blowing classes here and I know there are also drawing, painting, weaving, and glass fusing classes. I don't know what else they may have, but call and check!
