The Pelican's Nest Science Lab runs STEAM summer enrichment camps in Fairhope focused on the ecology of Mobile Bay, with themed weeks such as Shark Week and sessions where campers walk to the bay to seine, cast net and study local species. It is a long-running partnership between the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation and the Baldwin County Public School System, and it also delivers Pre-K through 12th-grade field experiences during the school year. Enrichment centers on K–6 students.
