Nonprofit community recreation center in Chillicothe running a summer camp for children ages 6 to 13, mixing physical activity, enrichment classes in science, art, yoga and PE, a summer reading program, field trips and swimming in the center's indoor pool. Families pick their own schedule and can choose full days or half-day sessions running 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 12:30-5:00 p.m. A separate P.O.W.E.R. Camp serves ages 11-13 with a leadership and relationship-building focus.

★★★★★Michelle SaundersWe went to Pearce for the first time today to use the pool (my 5 year old and I.) it was a blast! Wasn't very busy today but still had people in and out through the hours we were there. Had half the pools lap bar things up so people could do laps and the other half was open for free swimming. Families came in, people came alone, it was just lovely. The staff were all SO kind to me, so welcoming, so warm to my son. Keep in mind my kiddo is a wild and exciting ball of energy so he's just having the time of his life and everyone he saw took time out of their day to speak with him personally and chat. It was just the best experience and we will be back often! Oh, and I love that as a non-member we get a day pass so we can go home for lunch and come back to swim some more! Woo hoo!

We were happy to learn that we could get day passes. My daughter loved your pool and my husband loved the sauna and whirlpool. We will definitely be back. Abby was pleasant with helping with the process and the lady the next morning (4/24/25) had many great suggestions for us to keep us busy and active. What a great gem for your area!

We shopped around gyms, and Pearce's value is unheard of--fitness classes are free, there is a wide variety of classes to meet each of our needs, they offer child care while you work out and the opportunities for children are unbelievable. Summer Camp, Day Camp, School's Out to name a few. The staff is positive and motivational. I can't say enough great things about Pearce!
