I've worked as a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern at Bradley University as an undergraduate student, and I've worked at iSTEAM Studio for two years now. iSTEAM is nothing short of inspiring. I've worked with children of all ages to develop their skills in various areas of the broad field of Computer Science, starting from typing, and working all the way up to the theory of computation, there's so much to learn, and so many kids to be inspired by. I used to think it was rare for a child to develop skills in complex collegiate concepts. Yet, at this studio, I oftentimes found myself questioning my own intelligence seeing how fast some students pick-up on those concepts I thought were difficult as an undergraduate student. Jyoti has a knack for teaching that I envy, and it's rare for someone to have the compassion and patience that she carries so effortlessly. Any child would be lucky to have her as a teacher, and I'm sad to be leaving this Summer, as I work toward my own passions as a Data Engineer because Jyoti was a great teacher for me, and has shown me that anyone at any age always has something to learn, and I'll forever be indebted to her. This studio has not only brought me joy in seeing the moments the dots connect for a student figuring out a robot or a program, but also has inspired me to learn new skills in areas outside my expertise to help students pursue their own interests. It's also taught me valuable life skills about staying calm, being kind, and remembering there is no such as a bad student, just bad teachers. I'm proud to share this experience has not only motivated me to stay curious, but also lead me to inspire other students to develop that same energy in every lesson and subject matter, and this approach has shown me that the capability of kids is far beyond anything one can imagine with just a little guidance and encouragment. I've watched and experienced it first hand; kids blossom at iSTEAM each and everyday. I highly encourage parents to bring your child here, there's always a place for them in our studio, and I believe there's always something of interest for any kid of any age that this place can offer them. I enrolled my son in iSTEAM for weekly robotics classes, and he’s been incredibly excited. He loves building LEGO’s and is especially engaged with the coding, building, and robotics projects. He’s also looking forward to participating in FLL (First LEGO League) with his friends from iSTEAM. Jyoti and her staff have created a wonderful, welcoming learning environment that matches each child’s energy level and ability. If your child is interested in robotics or gaming, this is a great place to learn new skills. Everyone is supportive and understanding, and iSTEAM feels like a safe place to try new things. Both of my boys attend weekly classes and absolutely love it! Since joining both boys are showing more signs of independence during projects within the class and at home. We have noticed an improvement in their creativity and imagination at home when playing with toys and desire to build! The owner, Jyoti and all of her staff are wonderful to work with. The boys are able to work independently on their own projects while the staff is available to help teach them new skills and help with difficult steps etc. We are highly impressed by how much they accomplish and adding new skills with every session!

I enrolled my daughter in iSteam full day summer camp. She is excited about Lego and learning the coding that is really engaged with the Lego and Robotics part. This she is part of FLL (First Lego League) and going great. Jyoti and her staff made a wonderful and welcoming learning environment that is suited to all levels of Kids to learn about it.
