Parker Theatre, a nonprofit family theatre in South Salt Lake, runs one-week summer camps throughout the summer with themes ranging from Musical Theatre and Improv to Jedi Camp, Special Effects Makeup, and Baking. Musical theatre camps serve ages 6-15 (split by age), while drama classes span ages 4-19. Campers do daily warm-ups, learn songs and choreography, and perform for parents on the final day.

Powered by GoogleWhat an enchanted venue. Intimate and true immersion in theatre. Attended No Time for Sergeants and the whole cast was amazing. The bathrooms were very nice and concessions were pocketbook friendly. I will be back next time in SLC.
Fantastic performances, always! A great, accessible price point as well. We are very lucky in Utah to have such great community theater. Make sure to stop at their concession stand, located outside, they always have fantastic treats themed to the show. Their latest performance, Father of the Bride, was a riot. Best I’ve seen there thus far. Amazing set, top notch acting, and laugh out loud moments. Can’t miss! Great introduction to theater for someone who hasn’t experienced it before.
My family saw Christmas Carol last night. We were in awe of the performance, directing and powerful performances on this small stage. We have seen CC at Hale Center multiple times. Every member of our family felt this performance was better. We are season ticket Holders at HCT and love the performances. However, I recommend you see CC at Parker Theater instead or in addition to.
Bravo & hats off to you!!! I can easily say this is one of my favourite theatres in Utah, and have seen 3 of their shows now. First, the Silent Sky, which was just so amazing, so much so that my friend and I have both agreed it was better than the version we saw down at the Shakespeare Festival. Then I came and saw the Woman in Black, and was completely blown away! The stage lighting and design was so well done, I genuinely had to sleep with the lights on that night. And finally a Christmas Carol; My family and I consider ourselves connoisseurs of this story, and have watched every stage play, musical and movie we can get our hands on. And without a doubt this is the best version we have ever watched(apart from perhaps the Muppet version), and is very clever in how it captures more from the original text than any other version we have seen. We will be back for more!!!! Thank you!!!
Absolutely an amazing place to visit! Got to see A Christmas Carol and the actors were amazing, theatre was clean and cozy. The art deco decor takes you back in time and makes the atmosphere even greater. Their concessions are homemade and delicious. Can’t wait to make it back!!
