City of Corpus Christi recreation center at 1111 Bernice Drive in Oso Park, one of four city centers (with Joe Garza, Lindale and Oak Park) that run the Parks and Recreation summer camp for youth ages 6 to 16 from June through July. Campers play billiards, foosball, air hockey and arcade games, do arts and crafts and outdoor sports, and take field trips and hear guest speakers. Sessions are half-day: mornings 7:30am-12:30pm or afternoons 12:30-5:30pm, with snacks and lunch provided. The center also offers a free open-campus afterschool program during the school year.
The practical details

Powered by GoogleNice playground, it is covered and would be great to even play in the Texas heat. The only downside is that there are no public bathrooms. There is a public pool, a covered basketball court, a picnic table, some grass to play games on.
Pool open Friday through Tuesday good fun . No charge is great . They need to sell water or something might make a little cash
It's not a dog park people, Several had their dogs off leashes...not ok😰I have a dog myself and would not feel safe taking him or my kids there.
I had a small family outing with my nieces, my wife and her brother with his daughter, along with my friend, being the mother of my chosen niece. Deciding this would be one of the parks we would take these two cute little ruffians, we drove them to this second one of two we would visit yesterday. Though we didn't attend the pool or the sole building of this location, we had allot of fun! Within the time I supervised my nieces, I could tell my youngest niece would remember this as one of the funnest parks she would come to in Corpus Christi. Not to mention the climbing rock I was able to parkour up and down several times! This was the spectacle of my time here! Therefore, I give this one a five-out-of-five stars for good quality parksmanship, and we will definitely be returning to this one! ☆☆☆☆☆
New Karate class has started. Rooms and kitchen restrooms. The park is spacious and pool, seems available.
