I understand this place has produced many great athletes and is professional with many great coaches and reviews. We found the head of the xcel program woman very warm and genuine. It doesn't dismiss our bad experiences here even though mostly out of the owners/ coach's control. my daughter enrolled into the gold xcel program last summer as a 10 year old. I gave her a text/ call only phone for emergencies to bring to class. A group of girls on the team( 2 and 3 grades OLDER than her!)asked for her number and harassed her over days via text. My daughter was nothing but kind. She was also harassed enrire classes by same girls in person. I screenshoted the texts to send to coach/owner so it was undeniable. Gym had a meeting with the girls families and I was apologized too. Coach said the harassment was jealousy of skills. My daughter broke both bones in her arm very badly during a practice while doing a flip off bar. I met ambulance there and was told by my daughter and another student my daughter landed the flip on her feet and arm hitting bar was cause of break. You sign a waiver and assume risks when doing gymnastics so I did not blame coaches/gym and was kind. I kindly emailed Olympia after incident asking any coach input how my daughter broke her arm so that if she returns to gymnastics she could learn from mistake and not repeat it. Almost 2 WEEKS later , a coach called me and said she saw my daughter fall and she broke arm on ground. I told coach it doesn't really matter but since my daughter's story did not match is there video they could review? Coach told me the " No. No video evidence. cameras don't reach to the back of the gym where the bars are" So I was lied to or they don't have cameras in the back of the gym which is a safety risk on many levels to me.

My daughter attended a month of Tumbling on Thursday nights and received very little instruction or assistance. The coaches/young women working stand off to the side and talk during the class. They would tell the students what to do for a quick moment and then go to the side to chat again without any assistance or suggestions to the students. This has been a complete waste of time and money. My goal was for my daughter to learn a cartwheel and she's no closer to that goal after a month.

This gym has been a huge disappointment. In three months, my 8-year-old has received virtually zero coaching. Her skills haven’t improved at all because the coaches barely interact with the kids. Most of the “instruction” is coaches pacing around, staring at the floor, or standing in groups talking. They still carry clipboards rating skills they haven’t taught, which is honestly absurd. I’m 40 minutes into her current class as I write this, and she just got her first moment of attention. We tried switching days—same behavior from multiple instructors. If you want actual coaching, look elsewhere. We won’t be staying..

We love Olympia! It is my 3-year old daughter’s favorite activity and the coaches and staff are amazing. My daughter is very shy, but they have worked with her to make her feel so comfortable and confident. Sydney and Lexi are so amazing with her and she loves to practice when we’re at home!

Disappointed We had high hopes for Olympia Gymnastics, especially since our 4-year-old was excited to continue for a second month. Unfortunately, we decided to cancel due to our experience. It was very disappointing to see that the young instructors spent more time chatting with each other than engaging with or helping the kids. There was a noticeable lack of structure, discipline, and motivation in the team. It felt more like a social gathering for the staff than a learning environment for the children. I’ll definitely be trying another location. I truly hope there will be improvements here, especially since I chose this place based on good reviews. I’m sharing my honest experience in hopes that it helps other parents make an informed decision.
