The Oklahoma Youth Literacy Program (OKYLP) is an Oklahoma City nonprofit running a summer enrichment day camp for children in Pre-K through 9th grade, timed to the Oklahoma City Public Schools break in June and July. ★★Tenisha GriffinI will say that I love what they do for and in the community, but as far as child care, my son nor myself enjoyed it. I understand kids will be kids, but everyday was an issue. Some kid slapped him. Another kid slammed his hand in the door. Someone else kicked him smh. It became annoying and to me, it made me question if they were even really watching them. And God forbid you try and speak your mind or opinion, you get shut down because “ this is how it’s ran here and if you don’t like it then you don’t have to be here” attitude. I always try to endorse BOB, but sometimes you have to appreciate the efforts from afar.
