Ocean Sailing Academy is a US Sailing school in the Charleston area, established in 1997, teaching about 1,000 adults, families and teens a year in courses from Basic Keelboat through Ocean Passage-making. It is owned and run by lifelong sailor Ned Goss. A distinct kids summer camp was not confirmed.

We called last-minute one afternoon and were able to schedule a three-hour intro to sailing course for the next morning (much appreciated). Robert was a wonderful instructor, teaching us the terminology and techniques and we all took turns with the tiller and working the lines! Charleston Harbor is a beautiful place for this experience (with Ft. Sumpter and city views!) and we highly recommend the wonderful people that work there.
