LTP Tennis at Daniel Island (part of LTP Tennis Charleston) runs youth tennis summer camps for ages 5-14, Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm, grouped by age and ability, including ROGY camps for ages 5-8 beginners and elite training for ages 8 and up. Junior pickleball camps are offered for ages 6-9 and 10 and up.

★★★Nancy E.We attended the Charleston Tennis Tournament during the qualification days. Pros: The area around the tennis facility is excellent for meals and walking. Several good local establishments for food, drinks, etc. Transportation to and from the parking lot provided free. Cons: Miscommunication of prohibited items that can be bought into the Tennis Tournament such as handbags, open water bottles, backpack, folding chairs, clear bottles, etc. The facility needs to improve on their tournament entry guidelines! Advanced notice would make the experience less stressful!

Lots of good seats and even if you have to sit up top for an event, you have the benefit or breezes and water views. We also like that many of the food options are local during the Charleston Open.

It's hard to believe that when this world class professional tennis tournament isn't in town, the Family Circle Tennis Center is open to the public to join and play on their beautiful courts. They have both hard courts and clay courts available, a great club house with gift shop, changing rooms, convenient parking, etc. Throughout the year, the stadium is also home to a variety of fantastic concerts and events! It's a wonderful stadium with an intimate atmosphere, and not a bad seat in the house!
