Wasn’t able to do the season due to being diagnosed with CANCER and my requests for a call from the director have never once been returned. Tried talking to the coach (Brogan) about it and he called me once, said he’d let the director know and I’m now being ignored. Real nice.

I want to start by saying I’ve called NNSR numerous times with questions, no one ever answers or calls you back (I know I’m not alone in this problem). The other day I left a review and Brian reached out via email immediately, however after I expressed my concerns there has been zero response. I decided to delete my review and make a more detailed one with the same information I sent Brian so that Other parents are fully aware of what they are getting themselves into when working with NNSR. This has been a disappointing first experience with youth sports and a lesson to research better which organization we’d like to work with in the future. The lack of preparedness and structure thus far has been frustrating to say the least. As a single mother who runs her own business, I was left checking my email every hour when they said they would be sending out season info, hoping that when the schedule was released it would work with my work schedule and I wouldn’t be scrambling at the last minute so we could attend accordingly. The schedule put out for the two month season (stated as being a two day a week schedule) worked and was planned for accordingly. Now that games have started, that schedule has completely changed, showing we have 3 games this week, one practice next week and almost a two week gap with nothing. I’m assuming the reality is that NNSR doesn’t actually have a schedule figured out and it will probably change again, last minute of course. To be quite frank, the complete lack of preparation shows a real lack of consideration to the families looking to participate in the program. People have lives and other obligations outside of this and many people need to plan ahead to make these sorts of things work. On top of all of this, the teams jerseys and flags showed up halfway through their first game. Like I said, it’s just been a disappointing first experience and the lack of structure and organization just shows that NNSR will not be a suitable option for us in the future. I hope NNSR takes these shortcomings into consideration moving forward so that we can have reliable extra-circular activities available in our community.

If you value your child's overall health and well-being, I would stay away from this organization at all costs. They clearly have a rule book for show and tell purposes only. To the coaches who are teaching their players to hurt the opposite team simply for a short-lived victory, you should be ashamed of yourselves. A child will get badly injured playing for this league, it's not a matter of if but when; and they will be liable due to the fact that rules are blatantly being ignored by coaches, refs, and players alike. I would 100% not recommend any league in this organization to anyone.

This is an entry level tee-ball league so your expectations shouldn't be too high. However, we were disappointed with the organization and overall setup of the league. Our coach stopped showing up after a few weeks and the staff was apathetic about the situation. Most parents on our team were frustrated and stopped attending games. We only had a few kids on our team attend the remaining games. Parents would have helped if given direction, equipment, or any communication from league organizers. There are better and more organized tee-ball leagues in the area with the same fees.

If you want an organized league, I would look else where. At the first day of practice our "coach" didn't show up and I was assigned to be the coach. I was fine with it and did the best I could but was given absolutely no direction. We were never given any information or saw anyone from the league except a few high school kids that could not answer our questions. I realize organizations like this can not run without parent participation and volunteers but even a simple meeting or phone call with the coaches before would have been better than what we recieved. They didn't send a schedule until the second week after games started. They then scheduled us with the same team 2 out of 4 games when there were 8 teams in the league. After the second week we were given exactly 2 balls to warm up between the two teams. I would have purchased balls if I knew we needed to but they were supposed to be provided. The most they did was bring a bag full of used equipment (not including balls)and put it on a big grass field before we arrived. They couldn't be bothered to set up the bases before the games.
