I cannot recommend this gym. After more than two years in their devo team program, my 4-year-old was removed via email with very little prior communication from her coach or the director. Based on the other reviews here, this is clearly a pattern, not an isolated experience. My daughter joined the "developmental team" at 2.5 years old. We started with a wonderful coach, but once she began preschool and couldn't attend daytime sessions, during our Saturday class we were cycled through a rotating roster of very young, inexperienced instructors with no consistency and no communication about the changes. Their inexperienced coaches struggled to maintain control of the class and keep the children's attention. When we finally did get a consistent coach, she often showed up with low energy and looking like she just rolled out of bed. Their solution to a 4-year-old struggling to focus during a 90-minute class? An email stating that they are removing her from the devo team and suggesting she'd be better suited for a trampoline class. No conversation. No warning. No communication about working through this and no accountability. My 4 year old was not disruptive to the class she just was simply not super interested int he repetitive class (she is 4). This email removing her from the program came just after we were required to spend $150+ on a new leotard set for the upcoming year for the developmental team. What's most telling is that when my daughter had a skilled, experienced coach, she had zero issues. She listened, she followed directions, she thrived. The problem was never my daughter, it was inexperienced, low energy coaches who didn't seem to want to be there. Like so many families here, my daughter was just a number in their overly packed gym. Gymnastics should build skill and character. Coaches should encourage young children to push through challenges but this gym is more interested in filling spots and collecting fees than actually developing young athletes. Do your research before enrolling.

We joined this summer from Tennessee, and we were absolutely blown away! From day one, the coaches were the perfect balance of being strict yet fun — creating a training environment that truly brings out the best in the kids. Their high standards, combined with genuine encouragement, helped our child grow in skill and confidence so quickly. The entire community was warm and welcoming — gymnasts, coaches, and staff alike. You can tell that everyone here is passionate about the sport and committed to excellence. We honestly can't say enough great things about this group. If you're looking for a place where your child can thrive, this is it. Highly, highly recommend!

Many of these coaches don’t WANT to be there, The attitude towards kids is appalling. I picked up my nephew from gym today, and he was crying after the coach embarrassed him. He believes and feels he’s not “good enough” to go to the gym. The other kids get praise and uplifting comments but he does not. I watched the class after, and his coach has attitude towards the kids. You can tell by watching her, she has to put effort into even smiling, while she’s there. She puts very little effort into the kids that aren’t as proficient or skilled. He’s 7, what could a 7 year old possibly do to deserve to feel that way, after going to his favorite after school activity… Be better NVG.

The facility is nice and clean; however, I would not recommend hosting a birthday party there. I showed up and was shocked to learn that all the parents (including my husband and grandparents) would have to remain in a separate “observation room” behind glass while the kids played. The only parents allowed on the gym floor were with kids who were not potty trained. It may have been in the fine print, but I would never have booked a party there knowing this. To spend that amount of money and not have my husband and parents get to play with my daughter on her birthday was extremely sad. They were very disappointed. Additionally, I felt disconnected not having a chance to engage with any of our guests. I’ve hosted parties at other gymnastics facilities, and this is never the case. Parents are usually allowed to freely engage with children throughout the playtime. I did give the facility three stars because they pre-set the dining room with table cloths, a birthday banner, and cutlery, which is a nice touch.

This place is incredible! My kid needs a place to go summer camp and this place has got everything she needs in a safe and professional environment. I wouldn't think of taking my kid anywhere else. If you really want your kid to have a blast and learn some new gymnastics skills, there's not really any other choice but North Valley gymnastics! If you haven't been here for their regular classes, then right now is perfect to check them out for their summer camp. After you get your feet wet I think you're going to decide to sign them up for the regular scheduled sessions.
