North Flathead Yacht Club runs junior sailing camps on Flathead Lake in Somers for youth ages 8 to 17, from beginners with no experience through intermediate and advanced sailors. Campers learn sailing skills, water safety, seamanship, and teamwork with accredited coaches, training in Optimist dinghies, FJs, Lasers, and RS Fevas. Half-day morning sessions run 7:30am to 11:00am, offered in one-, two-, and four-week options, and are open to both members' children and the public.
