Neither of us had much sailing experience but the textbook and online materials provided ahead of time were really helpful in preparing for the weekend class. We enjoyed learning from both Bob and Chad who taught the classroom portion of ASA 101. Then for the actual sailing portion we were under Chad’s instruction. We had a great time learning from him, as well as getting experience with all the operations of the sailboat! We learned a lot and we look forward to continuing to sail, and completing our 103 and 104 with Go Sail in the future. Would definitely recommend to friends interested in sailing!

I was extremely worried about a passing grade due to my lack of experience in the curriculum, yet walked away each day with confidence not only in handling the boats but the terms, parts of boats, and the lingo that goes along with sailing. Christie, Chad, and John were great matches for each level of courses taken and I believe almost anyone with motivation for something new or even the lightly experienced could benefit from Captain G’s amazing school in a beautiful, quiet place to enjoy a great part of Montana!
