We go on Saturdays for open gym. Wonderful facility. But sometimes you will waste almost half of your play time waiting in line to check in!when they open (if it's a popular day, like a rainy day). Even if you've pre-registered and paid online! They badly need a way to express check-in . This could be as simple as a $30 barcode scanner by the entry gate where pre-registered guests just flash their pre-registration QR code. This bottleneck is completely unnecessary and unprofessional. The staff is absolutely professional and lovely though!

We have had a birthday here and I would 1000% recommend doing your child's party here. My 4.5 year old is in the Kinder Class with Coach Charlotte and he loves it. He seems to be really thriving under her instruction and says he would do gymnastics in her class every day if he could. I love, love, love how happy this place makes my child. The only frustration I have with this facility is their systems for communication. There have been multiple instances where their website is falsely advertising classes as usual but they're actually closed for some reason or another. They do not have a calander with closers available. I'm told they "send an email" a week before. That seems just awful to me, and a little lazy. As long as they keep their system showing an accurate class schedule I'm content enough to do 5 stars. (The price also isn't adjusted for months they don't do full classes, so you're paying the same for random closers.) 1 year ago; I've been attending North Coast Gymnastics Coed Preschool class with coach Izzo (Bellingham Location) and my son has improved tremendously. He absolutely loves class and is so excited to go everytime. I really feel like that coach in particular really cares about and works to meet the needs and goals of each of her students and she is amazing at keeping them focused on the task at hand. Parents aren't allowed in class, like on the floor, I watch from bleachers upstairs. I was nervous about that at first but it's really amazing watching him respect another adult without my intervention.

The facility itself is awesome-however the front desk staff is very rude-specifically an older woman (not sure if she’s the owner). I was trying to find dates that fit 2 of my children’s schedule-and the woman was very short with me, as if she was doing me a favor for signing up my children at the facility. My child attended a class for an evaluation-they stayed they will immediately call me to let me know. After waiting 10 days, I called back and was told, that she can not attend the class and gave me one other option that does not work for working families. I decided to bring my business to another gym in Ferndale that has excellent customer service and better hours to fit working families. The other gym also has toys and an area for toddlers to play.

I originally wrote a low star review based on the experience of not being able to enter the gym to see my child closer or inspect the premises if I so choose. I did not intend to spend more than a minute or two on the gym floor. I was going mainly to encourage my son. I was immediately told it was gym policy I could not enter the floor. However, I also feel as a parent, I should have that right for whatever reason I see fit. The owner followed up with me by phone. He explained the challenges of insurance, some state laws, and other parent perceptions if I were to enter the gym floor and they are instructed not to. While I certainly understand those concerns, I know I have been to other gyms where parents enter the premises without waivers (for example the trampoline zone etc). Generally, you sign a waiver for participants. But I also understand the logistical or liability concerns. All of that being said, I do appreciate the call but hope the business owner will consider ways to improve or allow occasional parent interaction with gymnasts. I think it is not too much to ask.

Our family regularly attends North Coast Gym. We have taken our daughter to open gym and classes for over a year and she absolutely adores it. We started when she was 12 months old. The coaches staff and parents are so amazing with the little ones. Our daughter has learned so much from attending and she absolutely admires the coaches and staff (especially Coach Steph). It's amazing how interactive everyone with all the kids from the moment you walk in to the moment you exit. It's so nice to know our daughter is watched over so closely and is in a safe, clean, productively energetic atmosphere. If you haven't had the opportunity to take your child here yet you are missing out!!! There are so many endless illuminating and intriguing activities for all of the age groups!! We want to wish a special Thank you to all the coaches and staff. We cherish coming here and greatly anticipate the entertainment and joyful years to follow!! Thank you Kent and Bekah for all of your hard work! -The McCoy Family - Bellingham, WA
