Powered by GoogleUsually never do this but the communication is awful!! They are also really unorganized. My daughters first year doing gymnastics and when we showed up to our first class no one greeted us we were lost, We had no idea what group she was in and waited around to figure it out on our own, really wished they would’ve been better about introducing themselves and letting us know where and who we were with. Following, we paused our membership in november and was given a credit in our account for the miscommunication however, they continued to charge us even after we told them not to… They have an awful system and need to be better about this we are being charged for classes we never went to because they never stopped taking money from us!!!
Coach Autumn is awesome. She’s naturally very warm with the kids while still encouraging them to push themselves and do their best. My little one genuinely looks forward to her gymnastics classes because of her. I would absolutely recommend her as a coach to any parent considering gymnastics for their child.
Don’t go there. I pulled my daughter out after she was repeatedly punched in the back by another student on at least three different occasions. I spoke with the teacher but he acted like he didn’t care or have the time to discuss it. When I brought the issue to the gym owner, the first thing she asked was if my child was homeschooled, as if that had anything to do with the incident. It was clear she was deflecting blame from the start. She then insisted the teacher was one of their best and brushed off the situation by saying, “boys will be boys” and that they usually get physical with each other. Not once did she apologize or acknowledge that this happened on their watch multiple times. And anytime I spoke about this to a counselor, parent or an educator, their jaws dropped just hearing how the gym owner responded to the situation. If you have a daughter, this is not a safe space for them. If you have a son, he won’t learn accountability or respect in that environment, just that bad behavior is tolerated. All in all, they gym owners response showed exactly how backwards their priorities are. She tried protecting staff reputations instead of protecting kids. No one is going to pay you just for their kid to spend time there to experience unchecked physical violence from other classmates. I don’t care if they see this as a small issue, our children are precious and their safety is not something to gamble with. I moved my daughter to a different teacher just to finish out the class, then left for good. For years, we drove to a gymnastics center in Bellingham even though Gym Star is only minutes from our home.
Shooting stars preschool 3pre and prek (4yo) Well after 2 years of sending my daughter. We are so glad we made the choice to go with shooting stars. Staff and teachers are amazing. Great balance of gym, play, school. Kids love the freetime and crafts. They go above and beyond with 2 recitals, end of year books. Memory book that will last a lifetime. Great choice and a no brainer for the cost with a gymnasium. 🥇⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Gymnastics: I have 2 kids 1 started at 13 mo the other 18 mo old. Parent and toddler classes are so good for kids to grow, get strength and wiggles out. My daughter is now in the preschool level and they do a great job of development, skills and increasing skills with correct movements. Great year round activity. Preschool (3 year old) We did 2 days a week 930 to 1230. Worth every penny! Teachers and all staff are so sweet and really care about your kidos. We had a very good year and it finished with a great workbook full of photos and development. They gave us all the skills shees and assessments and what we should continue to work on. Very well structured. Class sizes are small and they always put the kids first. You help contribute with snacks but it's not much, they call with any kids of worried and keep you 100% in the loop. I will continue to use gym for school, classes and probably a birthday here and there. Thank you gym stars staff!
Great gym for the kids. They have a lot of great classes for kids of different ages. The teachers are all really nice and do a great job with the kids. The upstairs area is locked in so you can have smaller kids that won’t end up down the stairs. Lots of toys and books upstairs to keep the younger ones entertained while you watch your kids in class.
