Watching our son grow through this music school has been such an incredible experience. He started in the Explorers class at just 3 years old, and it quickly became obvious how much he connected with music. The staff recognized his passion early on and encouraged him to begin private drum lessons at only 3 and a half years old — something we are so grateful for. Since then, his growth as a drummer and overall musician has been amazing to witness. Not only has his skill and confidence behind the drums grown, but so has his creativity, listening, discipline, and love for music. Mr. Arden, Mr. Michael, Ms. Mary, Ms. Aaliyah and the entire staff have played such an important role in nurturing that passion. Their patience, encouragement, and genuine care for each student truly stand out. What makes this school even more special is the environment they’ve created. It has become a second home for our son — a place where he feels safe to learn, grow, express himself, and explore the world of music. We are incredibly thankful for this community and highly recommend this school to any family looking for a supportive and inspiring place for their child to grow musically and personally. Mr. Arden (drums) and Mr. Max (piano) are both exceptional teachers exuding enthusiasm and expertise in their craft. They have been very encouraging and helpful in getting my kids excited about learning and improving in their instruments. Thank you Mr. Arden and Mr. Max! Of note, the other teachers that we have had are great as well. Thank you to Mr. Paul and Ms. Hosna who have also been great teachers to our kids — both are knowledgeable and patient. We love New Songs! Mr. Dustin is a wonderful guitar teacher. My daughter started during Covid so I wasn’t sure if it would stick once things went back to normal. Thankfully years later she’s still going strong! New Songs is always accommodating, friendly, communicative, and consistently offers performance opportunities. As a parent I appreciate that Mr. Dustin balances technique with fun. He challenges my daughter but also asks her input to make sure the pieces they work on retain her interest. Each lesson she learns something new and I’m so grateful to him and everyone at New Songs!
