An overnight music camp on 200 acres along Messalonskee Lake in Sidney, serving students roughly ages 9-19 (mainly 11-18). What happens is that it takes a bunch of kids from all walks of life and creates a meaningful experience for them that they will refer to continuously for the rest of their lives. It helps build self-confidence and it is fun! I attended the camp for four summers, made some life-time friends, and even met my husband there. I intend to send my children there when they get older.
