Nearby Nature is a Eugene nonprofit (founded 1992) that teaches week-long summer day camps in Alton Baker Park for kids ages 3-11, grouped into four age bands of 10-12 campers led by nature educators. Days mix outdoor adventure, science, art and gardening: kids hike, catch bugs, pick berries, bike, do experiments, build forts and use maps. Half- and full-day options are available.
