I grew up going to NBC summer basketball camps and the year round Varsity Academy. It helped shape me into the person I am today. I was mentored and coached by people who truly cared for me. They reinforced what my parents taught me about having integrity and doing the right things on and off the basketball court. I learned how to set goals and achieve them, how to work hard and persevere, and was taught many basketball, agility, strength, and conditioning skills that followed me throughout my high school and college basketball days. I love NBC camps and the fun, positive, Christian environment that I was blessed to grow up in!

Do you want to be a great athlete? Do you want to be a great person? These things are much more elusive than I imagined when I first started to discover what the humble painful process might really mean. When the goal is balance and excellence as an athlete and a person, the road is important, and it is long, and discipline and love are required. At NBC Camps, I found coaches and fellow athletes who not only excelled at this journey, but who could help me discover the courage, confidence, and follow-through I needed to reach the Division 1 level and play professional sports. It was an honor to play professional basketball in Germany's top league, the Bundesliga, but far more importantly, NBC helped heal my family and draw us to a beautiful place with each other. NBC, the greatest Basketball Camp in the world in my opinion, made me more forgiving and more able to ask forgiveness, and gave me better vision on how to live a whole and meaningful life. NBC also helped me dig deep down and put in the hours needed on the court and in the weight room, to reach some goals that were very difficult to reach. In the end, I was grateful to achieve a shooting percentage professionally of 52% from the international 3-point line, 86% on free-throws. That long road of discipline was a blessing, but not as important as the road to becoming a good son, a good brother, a good father and a good husband. I encourage you, begin the journey toward a more true, more profound, more strong, and more peaceful way of life by attending NBC Camps. Your goals in athletics will follow.
