Nature Pathways Early Learning Center
Private
Nature Pathways is a nature- and farm-based early learning center in Mendota Heights that weaves daily outdoor experiences and time with farm animals into its program. In summer it opens a camp program to children who have completed kindergarten, extending the same nature-based approach beyond the preschool year. The center's stated focus is on wonder, exploration and belonging, using nature and animals as the classroom.

My daughter loves going to school, and I love knowing that teachers and staff genuinely care for her. This is such a special place, I'm very happy to have my kids here.
Best pre school in all of Minnesota, highly recommend it to any parent that's looking for a preschool, some of the best memories you will have will be there!!!
My child loves going to Country Day. The teachers always seem to genuinely enjoy being there and are easy to talk to. Pictures are posted regularly and there's a communication note at the end of each day. We're happy our son gets to play outside so much- and with animals! We're really happy with our choice. My only critique would be the hours aren't as expansive as some and the tuition is higher. This is an acceptable trade for peace of mind though.
My son loves pre-school and summer camp at CCDS! He especially loves swimming in the pool during the summer. I have been impressed with the staff and activities. I really like how much the kids are outside and learning about nature. I would highly recommend CCDS!
Excellent grounds for the children to play; ample space plus interaction with animals, expansive playground equipment with various obstacles depending on skill level, plus shady trees during the summer time. The teachers we've experienced have been wonderful, caring and work and understand each child. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Convenient to Hwy 35 in between St. Paul and Mpls,
