★Dee BrockI’m not a big fan of how the basketball program is being run. We signed up with the understanding that it would be $400 per child (I have two), totaling $800 for both of my kids, with the agreement that they would play in four tournaments during the first half of the season and eight for the year. However, we only ended up playing in two tournaments during the first half, and then the basketball director requested the second payment—another $800. I explained that I wasn’t comfortable paying an additional $800 when we hadn’t even met the minimum number of games promised. Their response was that my kids couldn’t remain on the team unless the full amount was paid. They literally said they couldn’t be on the team if the second payment wasn’t made, despite attending every practice and putting in the work. This brings the total to $1,600, which just doesn’t make sense given the limited number of games we’ve actually played. Honestly, I feel like MVP is money-hungry. It seems like the focus is more on collecting money than on providing the experience we signed up for. If that’s how they handle basketball, how do they manage their other sports? I don’t want to play for a team or organization that prioritizes profit over allowing kids to enjoy themselves. I was 100% willing to pay the fee if we had received the minimum four games upfront, but not for only two. That’s $800 for two games—$400 per game!

Can’t wait to try out the Rapsodo, pitching machine, and hittrax in the future. Oh and the golf simulator! Highly recommend!
