Music/Arts Institute in Independence is a nonprofit community school of the arts offering music, dance and visual and performing arts to students from preschool through adult. Its summer programming includes the George Caleb Bingham Academy, a free summer arts immersion for high-school students with instruction, master classes, Kansas City field trips and a showcase, spanning music, creative media, visual art and theater. Additional summer camps are offered for younger students.
