Music Theater Heritage (MTH) is a professional musical-theater company in Kansas City whose nationally recognized youth summer camps serve children in grades 1-12. Camps run one to two weeks for all experience levels and culminate in an on-stage performance, and include a Broadway Boot Camp for ages 9-12. Sessions are grouped by grade band.

★Babs HandyWe bought tickets to see Brigadoon and unfortunately we were unable to locate the theatre. We asked around including information and no one seemed to be able to assist us. The box office was closed and when calling for advice I went straight to voicemail. Other patrons that were in the same predicament too and were under the assumption the theatre would be open or at least the box office. After a moment we decided to depart. We were later on informed that the Grand Theatre was actually on the other side of Halls. However as I was leaving I noticed there were signs on the second floor for said show. If the show was on the 4th floor; why were there signs on the second floor for said show “Go this way “ without any signage on the floor where it was actually located. Specially since the box office was there? I received word that this tends to be a regular occurrence and normally when this issue happens there is someone pointing to the correct area. On this Sunday the 2:00 matinee no one or signage was there to direct us. If this is an ongoing issue, it would be ideal to have permanent signage pointing where each theatre and or performance space is located. I do understand human error, but as stated at the top of my review no one knew how to assist and or direct us( crown center personnel ).
★John JacksonOn Sunday, May 10th a friend and I had tickets to see the final showing of Brigadoon. We arrived at 1:55 only to find the doors locked. There was a mom and son there, celebrating Mother’s Day, waiting to get in as well. We knocked on the glass entry doors and called the number provided at the box office but it went straight to voicemail. There were no signs of anything happening, nor were there signs of postponement or relocation, in fact, the flyers for the show were still on display. The place looked desolate. After 10 or 15 frustrating minutes, we decided to leave. I’m worried because we have tickets to another show next month which I am dubious about. Their website says “No Refunds” but they took money and failed to provide a service. I WILL NOT let this go until I am rectified. EXTREMELY disappointed and frustrated!
