My kids participated in musicals over two summers and had a great experience. They take piano lessons but are not musical or theater kids. I was so impressed when I saw the performances. They were singing and dancing and saying their lines and felt so comfortable and confident in their roles. They made new friends and felt a sense of pride in what they were doing. The vocal teachers, choreographer, costume design and directors accomplished so much in a relatively short amount of time. it was a great way for my kids to spend the summer. If you have the chance, I highly recommend. They can really help any kid shine.

My son has been learning guitar with Mr. John for the last two years, and we couldn’t be happier. He is an amazing teacher who truly knows how to connect with kids. He always makes my son feel confident and good about himself, while also teaching him so much about music. He is patient, encouraging, and always answers questions in a kind, respectful, and age-appropriate way. You can really see how much my son enjoys the lessons and how much he’s grown, both musically and personally. This is what he wanted to add: “Mr. John is the best guitar teachers I’ve ever met if there was a way to meet with him every day and play guitar, I would do that. Tamara is a gem. She is absolutely the best voice teacher any of my kids have had. She goes above and beyond to find ways to connect the students to their music using analogies and props. She teaches more than just voice. My daughter is learning poise, self confidence, how to hold herself in an audition, how the vocal chords work, and how to protect them.

Highly recommend. My 8yo takes group piano lessons here, he loves the teachers and peers. He has become more and more independent and is motivated everyday to practice piano (and singing!) because every few months there is a performance opportunity that rewards hard work -- if he got more pieces done he gets to perform more. if he sings well he get to do sing and play! I feel the classes teach him well too, he has learned many chords and tunes just from class.

Both my kids have gained so much at Music Pillars! Scott, Diego, and John are exceptional teachers! My daughter has improved a great deal in her piano lessons and gained a lot of confidence from performing at the Friday Fests. Both my kids also absolutely love attending the Music Pillars rock band camp each summer! They have a blast and learn so much about multiple instruments! They’ve picked up so many new skills in such a short time! I highly recommend Music Pillars!
