My kids always enjoy the swim lessons here. We've loved all the teachers that have come through here the past few years. Currently my kids are loving Miss Bailey and Miss Keila. They are so patient and supportive with my very energetic kids. My kids have gained so much confidence because of the classes and teachers at Mountain Wave Swimming.

We have LOVED our instructors at mountain wave swimming, really 10/10! However every person I’ve talked to who has known or has brought their kids there says, “we loved the instructors, just so you know it’s pretty getto and kind of dirty…” We have attended here for two years and took the winter months off to then start up again for this season to come back to higher prices and a very dirty environment. My son today walked in and said, “hey mom the water looks clearer and it’s not as dirty this time.” Last summer while attending I would put our swim bag down to come back and have ants on it and see them crawling all over the floor. There is also a lot of random equipment laying around that is not safe with how many children are running around. For how expensive this place has become I would hope for a five star environment. There has also been a lot of policy changes, scheduling changes, and it’s hard to keep up with and extremely frustrating at times. Over all I would say I’ve been satisfied with the experience for my kids and feel very confident with the safety skills and swimmings abilities they have learned from mountain wave swimming.

this place is the best! it makes me wish we never would have to leave idaho so all our babies could come here to get lessons! the instructors are so patient and knowledgeable. my boy has learned so much is such a short amount of time which makes me so excited for summers in the pool for him and less nervous for him around the water! it’s an investment and may be a sacrifice but so so worth it!!! also such a good way to get out with your kid and get them worn out, it’s my favorite place to go now!

I was referred to Mountain Wave from a friend, honestly not really knowing what to expect. The private 1:1 lessons seemed pricey at first, but now seeing what I’ve experienced with my daughter, I am BLOWN. AWAY. Many places teach basic safety first but the strides kids typically make aren’t as quick. They have it down to a system that truly WORKS! Every instructor my daughter has worked with has been phenomenal and I’ve been recommending Mountain Wave to everyone I know, some even driving 45 minutes each way. Take my word for it - It’s worth it!

Our almost 2 year old son took lessons here and we were really impressed. He learned a lot in just a few lessons. The environment is comfortable and welcoming. They have a play area for the kids to play in while they wait for their lesson and private changing areas to change in and out of their swimsuits. The 20 minute lessons are the perfect length for kids- long enough to learn new skills and short enough to keep them focused. The staff know what they are doing and are great with kids.
