We’ve been going to MTG for a year now and really like the place. Has a positive vibe, I like the coaches, they way evaluation is done, fair and good environment for kids to learn and thrive. Our daughter just got in to the All Star cheer team as a Novice-Elite Athelete and we are super thrilled. ❤️ The Cheer Director is so much fun to talk to. The front desk people are so kind, they answer all the questions I ask. Happy we found this after trying out another place in FW and not being satisfied with it.

Went into this place with high hopes putting my sons into Ninja. I’ll start off with the positives. The place is nice and well equipped. Everyone working there in the evenings when we go is very nice and helpful. Now on to our experience…..One of my twins is very athletic and quick to learn new things. He started in Oct 2025. He was grouped by his age, not abilities. No testing to see where he was or what he needed to learn. They do mini test every month of a couple of the skills required to move up. They pick one or two random new skills to learn for every month regardless of if any of the kids have it mastered already. So the kids that have already mastered the things they worked on for months get bored and aren’t learning anything new. My second twin joined in January and while he did learn new things all the other kids just had to keep doing the same things they’ve been doing for MONTHS! Talking to other parents there, it’s a pretty general consensus they don’t teach the kids discipline or self control as you would think Ninja class would. A lot of it is play time with a few things sprinkled in. I talked to the director of Ninja to ask if there was a plan to get acquired skills needed and she said not really, that she just picks a few new skills to learn a month. This is when I decided to pull the boys out. They run this as a one size/age fits all and that just keeps you in paying longer. Really disappointing because my sons want to learn and grow and enjoyed going. If you’re looking for a fun place for kids to burn some energy and learn a few new things then this place is great. The kids did have fun. But, if you’re looking for your kid to advance, sadly I’d look somewhere else. After 6 months of classes every week, my son was still only tested on 12/25 required skills. This is how slow moving the program is. Unfortunate kids aren’t taught by their abilities only their age.

More than Gymnastics does birthday parties, and they do them so well. The staff was amazing. The instructors kept the children focused, and the children all had a fun time. The facility was clean and tidy. Everybody enjoyed themselves.

My 8yr old son is always looking forward to his ninja class! His coaches are incredibly patient and understanding, and they do a great job redirecting him when needed. The front desk is so friendly and accommodating, and they always make you feel welcomed. They also have a great adult class! Coming to More Than Gymnastics was such a great decision.

Did the summer program and am currently with my toddler Ava. This is the first physical activity I’ve signed her up for. She’s super shy and sensitive and well she’s come out of her shell and is more confident. Yes the first day I dealt with crying but mamas stick to it. She did better every time. Jessica was our couch. She’s patient and sweet. Ava loves her now. Seeing other parents and their Little’s was fun. Fun seeing the kids start out. I recommend this before the alone class at 3 if you haven’t had your kid away from you. I feel confident that she’s getting familiar with her class and faces there. We signed up for the school year. We will absolutely continue. And a pic just for fun♥️
