Our daughter shines and has built a huge love for dance all thanks to MPA. Totally worth the 45 minute drive one way.

Midwest Performing Arts has a predatory policy of charging a fine from students who are not interested in their classes to try to get them to stay, on top of zero refunds. Every good business has a good-faith negotiation with some partial refund to ensure everyone's best interest, whether the discontinuation is due to interests mismatch or the school's ability to generate interest. Not only is there no refund, Crystal the office manager threatened to fine us $25 on top of tuition fees, if we discontinue. This policy is disruptive to both the student who is already not interested, as well as the teacher and other students, since the disinterested student may not be fully engaged in the class and may take time away from everyone. Companies that have policies to fine customers to force them to stay have no faith in their ability to provide a good service that would make people interested in staying, at the expense of everyone involved.

We just moved here from Phoenix and hoped to find our new dance “home” similar to what we had in AZ and boy have we been wowed by the teaching staff, community involvement, and studio! It’s so nice to have my girls have a snack before/after class while they wait for their sibling, and there’s in-studio productions which we hope to participate in regularly.
